about

This song was directly inspired by being left on a read in a beautiful young lady I know from high school's TikTok DM's. This was also indirectly inspired by falling madly in love with an incredible young lady from Las Vegas who I met on TikTok for about 2 weeks before being brutally (though justifiably) ghosted. This song was also slightly inspired by an insanely attractive but almost equally insane young Aries woman from [redacted] who could've had me more wide open than the pearly gates when Jesus walked through, but decided to play me like a Uno Reverse card. There may be another instance or 4 that inspired this, but we'll save that for later. I think you get the point.

lyrics

I just broke my phone, I'm back outside,
I've been in too many DM's & too many ain't reply,
So I'm back to getting money, getting fresh & getting high,
I don't wanna hear yo problems, bish,
Just keep that shit inside,
I ain't ever been a menace til my homie's suicide,
Now I'm living every day like if I die, at least I tried,
I don't wanna hear, "I love you,"
Cause the last one fucking lied,
I just wanna be alone,
To let a real nigga cry,
(into the money like)

I was out there wylin' on the roof,
I moved back into the A,
I work in 6 & fuck in 2,
I hear niggas rappin' K's,
But I got O's to follow suit,
I don't think that they OK,
They hate women & the truth,
Heard you say you was the man,
But we just know you as a bitch,
I don't even understand how he ain't swing,
and you still flinched,
I don't really think it's cool to know the streets more than your kids,
I don't really think it's fly to put in work & not pitch in,
Don't you know it take a village to get everybody up?,
Don't you know how much they pillaged for you not to give a fuck?,
We came right up out the bottom,
See, yo section know what's up,
We the spark they try to bottle,
Til we end up blowing up,
(oh you know we lit)

I just broke my phone, I'm back outside,
I've been in too many DM's & too many ain't reply,
So I'm back to getting money, getting fresh & getting high,
I don't wanna hear yo problems, bish,
Just keep that shit inside,
I ain't ever been a menace til my homie's suicide,
Now I'm living every day like if I die, at least I tried,
I don't wanna hear, "I love you,"
Cause the last one fucking lied,
I just wanna be alone,
To let a real nigga cry,
(into the money like)

Life is crazy when you pick a side,
Cause if you ain't cool with luck & you suck,
You finna die,
I don't like to know a lot, cause I don't need my circle wide,
I don't ever need yo 2 cents, I know ain't no Pennywise,
I was living with the 5's, and they'll all tell you I'm the guy,
Back when I was in Ohio, all my love was in KY,
I don't think you wanna fly off at the mouth, and we know why,
I don't think you know yourself, and now I think that's really why,
You be out here with them goofy ass fugazies from the block,
30+ year olds who only middle mall shop,
Talking like they killers, but have only living opps,
And if you ain't gon' kill 'em,
Don't you think that you should stop?,
Lemme stop,
(ha)

I just broke my phone, I'm back outside,
I've been in too many DM's & too many ain't replay,
So I'm back to getting money, getting fresh & getting high,
I don't wanna hear yo problems, bish,
Just keep that shit inside,
I ain't ever been a menace til my homie's suicide,
Now I'm living every day like if I die, at least I tried,
I don't wanna hear, "I love you,"
Cause the last one fucking lied,
I just wanna be alone,
To let a real nigga cry,
(into the money like)
